Renee
owner
Writing has been a passion of Renee’s since she could pick up a pencil. After working in freelance writing and marketing for nine years, Renee realized perhaps her wildest dreams of becoming a full-time writer were possible, in 2020, when Tamarack Creative opened its doors.
When Renee isn’t writing, she volunteers as a firefighter on the Pequot Lakes Fire District, spends time with her family in Canada, enjoys cycling, reading, and traveling the world.

Copywriter & Content Creator
Hi–I’m Kate Hamilton.
A writer, a taker of long rambles through the woods. An affectionate transplant to Minnesota from Washington State. I write because it’s human nature to tell a story. The best way to connect with other humans is, most often, through anecdotes and genuine conversations.
That’s what I strive to do every time I sit down to write. Create a connection with another human being by being genuinely interested in what they love. Who they love. How they pour themselves into living.
That is endlessly fascinating to me.
Mallory
Marketing assistant & content creator
Mallory’s role on the Tamarack team allows her to work independently, as well as in collaboration with her team members and clients; and she finds it to be the perfect balance! Since starting at Tamarack in April of 2023, Mallory has expanded her copywriting skills, honed in her enjoyment of content creation, and had an unparalleled willingness to learn new skills.
When Mallory isn’t working, you’ll likely find her volunteering in the community, hiking with her dogs, in the kitchen cooking, or, her favorite pastime, boating on Lake Superior.
